New IRC2p server online

Hi folks!

After some time of testing, is time to announce the availability of the new IRC2p net server irc.00.i2p.
It is run by its admin zl0 (zl0@mail.i2p) and is well known and trusted by the current IRC2p oper team.

The new IRC2p server will be included in new I2P release 0.9.35, but current setups won´t setup this server autoamticly.

To use the new IRC2p server you should open your addressbook on http://127.0.0.1:7657/dns and open the router addressbook.
Now please enter the entry "irc.00.i2p" in the textfield after Hostname and this long b64 address:

into the field after Destination.

Or you can visit: http://irc.00.i2p/?i2paddresshelper=YE~ ... oPBg%3d%3d
with your browser and add it to your addressbook.

Now you need to enter the address into the irc client tunnel.
Visit the Hidden Service Manager on http://127.0.0.1:7657/i2ptunnelmgr - and click on the irc2p tunnel, mostly the direct link is
http://127.0.0.1:7657/i2ptunnel/edit?tunnel=1 - but it may vary.

In the line "Tunnel Destination" you should replace irc.dg.i2p with irc.00.i2p and save the new setting.
You may just add irc.00.i2p:6667 to that line (with a , after the last entry) also.

After saving the new setting, a stop and restart of the IRC2p tunnel set the new saved configuration active and you may use irc.00.i2p now!
